ORDINANCE NO. 95-52
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING CHANGE OF THE 11AYIMUM
SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN ROADS AND STREETS
WITHIN THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH TOWN CODE CHAPTER 12,
TRAFFIC, ARTICLE 12-2 TRAFFIC CONTROL, SECTION
12-2-2, TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES AND A.R.S. § 28-703.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CONINION COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That pursuant to Town Code Section 12-2-2 and A.R.S. § 28-703. the Town
has determined on the basis of engineering and traffic investigation that the maximum speed
permitted on certain streets within the Town can be declared to be reasonable and safe at speeds
in excess of 25 miles per hour.
Section 2. That attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set
forth herein is Attachment A setting forth the maximum speed limit for certain streets within the
corporate limits of the Town and the segments of said streets affected by the increased maximum
safe and reasonable speed limits.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1995.
