TOWN COUNCIL
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS
January 6, 1990
The town council of the Town of Fountain Hills met in regular session on
Saturday, January 6, 1990, at 9:30 a.m., at the Community Center, Fountain
Hills, Arizona.
ROLL CALL
Upon the meeting being called to order it was observed that Harry Barber, Joe
Bill, John Cutillo, Charles Fox, Dick Haugen, Marti Lemieux and Mike Minarsich
were present.
NEW BUSINESS -
After the Pledge to the Flag, Cathy Connelly, of the Arizona League of Cities
and Towns was given the floor to conduct a seminar for all of the newly
appointed Council persons. A copy of her agenda is attached.
The next item of business was to try to come up with a standard time, place and
night that we could all meet. After finding that the Community Center was
booked on most nights, Mike Minarsich was asked to contact Walt Dunn at the
School District's Office to see about the possible use of school facilities for
the town council public meetings.
The final action of the council was to decide on the agenda items for the next
meeting, which was called for Tuesday, January 9, 1990 at.6:30 p.m. The
meeting was tentatively scheduled to be held at the School District
Administrative Building on Del Cambre Avenue.
CALL TO THE PUBLIC - (Agenda Items Only)
Bruce Hansen asked how citizens could address the council. It was explained
that the council would adopt council meeting procedures, but for now all a
citizen needs to do is raise their hand to be recognized during the call to the
public. Once recognized, they simply state their name and address and speak to
the agenda item of interest to them.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
