MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL SESSION OF THE FOUNTAIN HILLS TOM COUNCIL
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 1990
A public meeting of the Fountain Hills Town Council was convened and called to
order by Mayor John Cutillo at 6:00 p.j(I., Wbdgir5d,ay, %march 7, i'_X)t in the,
Fountain Hills School Administration Building located at 14605 N. Del Cambre
Ave., Fountain Hills, AZ.
ROLL CALL - Present for roll call were the following members of the Fountain
Hills Town Council: Mayor John Cutillo, Vice Mayor Mike Minarsich and
Councilmembers Harry Barber, Marti Lemieux, Joe Bill, Charlie Fox and Dick
Haugen. Also present were Town Manager Mike McNulty, Town Attorney Bill Farrell
and Town Clerk Cassie Hansen.
AGENDA ITEM #2 - VOTE TO 00 INTO E)CDCUTIVE SESSION
Councilman Haugen made a MOTION to go into executive session. SECONDED by
Councilman Bill and CARRIED unanimously.
AGWA ITEM #4 - The council went into executive session at approximately 6:04
p.m. to receive an update from the town attorney on the litigation involving the
road districts.
The council returned to special session and reconvened the meeting at
approximately 6:25 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM #5 - DISCUSSION AND AOC��TANCE OF' THE DISSOLUTION Off' THE RQAD
DISTRICTS
Councilman Fox made a MOTION that Resolution 1990-10 be adopted by this council.
SECONDED by Vice Mayor Minarsich. Following no discussion by the council, Bruce
Hansen asked what this would do to the Genin lawsuit. Mr. Farrell explained that
the passage of this Resolution would not make the town party to the lawsuit and
that he sees no liability. The motion CARRIED unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM #6 - CALL TO THE PUBLIC
Danny Tancredi asked when the road districts would be dissolved. Mr. Farrell
said it would be up to each of the four individual districts.
ADJOURNMENT - The meeting was adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
