(Now MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE
FOUNTAIN HILLS TOWN COUNCIL
MAY 5,2009
Mayor Schlum called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL — Present for roll call were the following members of the Fountain Hills Town Council: Mayor
Jay T. Schlum, Vice Mayor Mike Archambault, Council Member Henry Leger, Council Member Cassie
Hansen, Council Member Dennis Contino, and Council Member Ginny Dickey.
Town Manager Rick Davis,Town Attorney Andrew McGuire and Town Clerk Bev Bender were also present.
AGENDA ITEM #1 - ROLL CALL AND VOTE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION: PURSUANT
TO ARIZ. REV. STAT. §38-431.03(A)(1), FOR DISCUSSION OR CONSIDERATION OF
EMPLOYMENT, ASSIGNMENT, APPOINTMENT, PROMOTION, DEMOTION, DISMISSAL,
SALARIES, DISCIPLINING OR RESIGNATION OF A PUBLIC OFFICER, APPOINTEE OR
EMPLOYEE OF ANY PUBLIC BODY. (SPECIFICALLY, INTERVIEWING APPLICANTS FOR
POSSIBLE APPOINTMENT TO TO FILL THE TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY).
Vice Mayor Archambault MOVED to go into the Executive Session and Councilmember Leger SECONDED
the motion, which CARRIED unanimously by a vote of those present(6-0).
AGENDA ITEM#2-ADJOURNMENT AND CONVENE THE REGULAR SESSION.
Vice Mayor Archambault MOVED to adjourn the Executive Session at 7:00 p.m. and Council Member Hansen
SECONDED the motion, which CARRIED unanimously by a vote of those present(6-0).
