RESOLUTION NO. 2004-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, REPEALING AND REPLACING THE
PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
MANUAL, MERIT PAY AND EVALUATION MANUAL, THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL AND THE
PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL FOR THE TOWN
OF FOUNTAIN HILLS WITH THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS
PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES MANUAL.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills (the "Town
Council") adopted Resolution No. 1990-28 on October 4, 1990, establishing the Personnel
Policies and Procedures Manual and Merit Pay and Evaluation Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 1994-12 on April 7, 1994,
amending the Town of Fountain Hills Policies and Procedures Manual adopted on October 4,
1990; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 1997-44 on September 4, 1997,
amending the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual for the Town of Fountain Hills; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted Resolution 2002-35 on September 5, 2002,
amending the Personnel Policies and Procedures for the Town of Fountain Hills; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to repeal the previously adopted (i) Personnel
Policies and Procedures Manual, (ii) Merit Pay and Evaluation Manual, (iii) Town of Fountain
Hills Policies and Procedures Manual and (iv) the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual for
the Town of Fountain Hills (collectively, the "Manuals") and replace the Manuals with the Town
of Fountain Hills Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Manuals are hereby repealed and replaced with the Town of
Fountain Hills Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual in the form attached hereto as Exhibit
A and incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor, the Town Manager, the Town Clerk and the Town
Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents and take all steps
necessary to carry out the purpose of this Resolution.
