A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 2003-41 AND
RECOGNIZING THE FOUNTAIN HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
TOURISM BUREAU AS THE TOWN'S OFFICIAL TOURISM ENTITY.
WHEREAS, the Town of Fountain Hills, Arizona (the "Town") adopted Resolution
2003-41 (the "Resolution") on August 7, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution recognized the Fountain Hills Tourism Council as the
Town's official tourism entity; and
WHEREAS, the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce Tourism Bureau (the "Tourism
Bureau") has assumed the roles and responsibilities related to promoting tourism through
destination marketing; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires amend the Resolution and recognize the Tourism
Bureau as the Town's official tourism entity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Tourism Bureau is hereby recognized as the Town's official
tourism entity.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor, the Town Manager, the Town Clerk and the Town
Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the intent of
this Resolution.
