�r A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY RELATING TO THE LEASE OF
OFFICE SPACE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (the
"Amendment") between the Town of Fountain Hills and the Arizona Department of Public
Safety relating to the lease of office space is hereby approved in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor, the Town Manager, the Town Clerk and the Town
Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to cause the execution of
the Amendment.

AMENDMENT#1
Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Arizona Department of Public Safety,and The
Town of Fountain Hills concerning the lease of office space for Department of Public Safety at 16836 East
Palisades,Fountain Hills,Arizona. This document is DPS Contract#96-146,AG Contract#KR96-0984
dated May 22, 1996.
III. DURATION.
Change the effective date to read July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005.
V. DUTIES OF TOWN.
Modify the rental rate from $246.00 per month to $214.54 ($2,574.46 annually).
All other terms and conditions of the agreement remain in force.
