A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, NAMING THE COMMUNITY CENTER
RECEPTION DESK AREA "THE EVELYN AND KEN BRETING
RECEPTION CENTER" IN RECOGNITION FOR THEIR MANY YEARS OF
DEVOTED AND UNWAVERING SERVICE TO THE TOWN AND ALL OF
ITS RESIDENTS.
WHEREAS, Evelyn and Ken Breting have been residents of the Town of Fountain Hills
since 1982, and throughout that period, have time and again stood at the entranceway of the
Community Center on behalf of the Town welcoming visitors and residents alike to the
community; and
WHEREAS, Evelyn and Ken, by their words, actions and deeds have served to initiate
and helped to develop numerous highly valued community service projects and organizations;
and
WHEREAS, Evelyn and Ken were personally, spiritually and physically involved with
and largely responsible for the development of our present Community Center Facility; and
WHEREAS, Evelyn and Ken have consistently served as the embodiment of the spirit of
community service for one and all since the day they arrived at in Fountain Hills; and
Lov WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills (the "Town
Council") have determined that in recognition of the exceptional community service that Evelyn
and Ken Breting have provided to the Town and its residents, it is appropriate and consistent
with the Town's Policy and Procedures for Civic Naming of Streets, Buildings, Structures and
Recreational Facilities that the reception desk area at the Community Center be named and
known as "The Evelyn and Ken Breting Reception Center".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Town of Fountain Hills Policy and Procedures for
Civic Naming of Streets, Buildings, Structures and Recreational Facilities, the reception desk
area at the Community Center shall hereafter be named and known as "The Evelyn and Ken
Breting Reception Center" in thankful recognition for their many years of devoted and
unwavering service to the Town and all of its residents.
SECTION 2. That the Town Manager is hereby authorized to take necessary action in
furtherance of this Resolution to place an appropriate plaque or sign at the reception desk area at
the Community Center indicating that such area is named and known as "The Evelyn and Ken
Breting Reception Center".
