A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR
PLANNING, BUILDING AND ENGINEERING FEES FOR THE TOWN AND
AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 FULL TIME
EQUIVALENT POSITIONS, RELATING TO IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
TOWN'S LOW WATER USE LANDSCAPE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2006, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills
(the "Town Council") adopted Resolution No. 2006-35 approving fees for certain services
provided by the Planning Division, the Building Division and the Engineering Division (the "Fee
Schedule"); and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to update the Fee Schedule for services relating
to the Town's low water use landscaping requirements as established by Ordinance 06-19; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to authorize the hiring of an additional .5 full
time equivalent planner positions in order to implement and enforce the Town's low water use
landscaping requirements as established by Ordinance 06-19.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Fee Schedule is hereby amended to include fees relating to the
Town's low water use landscaping requirements as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. That the hiring of an additional .5 full time equivalent planner positions in
order to implement and enforce the Town's low water use landscaping requirements as
established by Ordinance 06-19 is hereby authorized.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor, the Town Manager, the Town Clerk and the Town
Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents and take all steps
necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills,
December 7, 2006.

additional fee equal to 25% of the original fee charged.
The subdivision recording fees are per the Maricopa County Recorder's fee schedule and are therefore
subject to change.
