1. CALL TO ORDER
Councilmember Brown called the meeting of Monday, December 16, 2019, to order at 5:33 p.m. in the
Fountain Conference Room, located at 16705 East Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, Arizona.
2. ROLL CALL
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Vice Mayor Sherry Leckrone and Councilmember Dennis Brown
COUNCILMEMBER ABSENT: Art Tolis
STAFF PRESENT: Executive Assistant Jamie Salentine
3. VOTE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Councilmember Brown moved that the Fountain Hills Town Council Subcommittee enter into Executive
Session at 5:34 p.m., seconded by Vice Mayor Leckrone;passed unanimously by those present(2-0).
Pursuant to §38-431.03(a)(1), for discussion or consideration of employment, assignment,
appointment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries, disciplining or resignation of a public officer,
appointee or employee of any public body, (specifically,for the purpose of interviewing applicants for
possible service on the McDowell Mountain Preservation Commission.)
At 6:30 p.m.,the Executive Session adjourned and the Town Council Subcommittee reconvened their regular
meeting.
Vice Mayor Leckrone moved to recommend to the Mayor that Janice Holden be appointed to the McDowell
Mountain Preservation Commission with the term ending October 31, 2020, seconded by Councilmember
Brown;passed unanimously by those present (2-0).
4. ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Brown moved to adjourn, seconded by Vice Mayor Leckrone;passed unanimously by those
present(2-0).
The Fountain Hills Town Council Subcommittee adjourned at 6:31 p.m.
