OCTOBER 14, 2021 SUBCOMMITTEE B MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
Councilmember Scharnow called the meeting of Thursday, October 14, 2021, to order at 3:30 p.m. in the
Fountain Conference Room, Town Hall located at 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ.
2. ROLL CALL
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmember Peggy McMahon and Councilmember Mike Scharnow
COUNCILMEMBER ABSENT: Councilmember David Spelich
3. VOTE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Councilmember McMahon moved to go into Executive Session. Councilmember Scharnow seconded and
the motion passed unanimously by those present at 3:31pm. (2-0)
A. DISCUSSION of possible appointment recommendations to be verbally communicated to the Mayor.
At 3:33pm the Executive Session adjourned and the Town Council Subcommittee reconvened their
regular meeting.
POST EXECUTIVE SESSION ACTION
Consideration of Recommendation to the Mayor for Appointment(s) to McDowell Mountain
Preservation Commission moved by Councilmember Scharnow and seconded by
Councilmember McMahon.
Moved to recommend to the Mayor that Brian Jennings be appointed and Bill Craig and Scott
Grzybowski be reappointed to the McDowell Mountain Preservation Commission with the term
ending October 31, 2024; passed unanimously by those present (2-0).

ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember McMahon moved and Councilmember Scharnow seconded to move to adjourn; passed
unanimously by those present (2-0). The Fountain Hills Town Council Subcommittee adjourned at
3:35pm.
