OF THE FOUNTAIN HILLS TOWN COUNCIL
JANUARY 19, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — Mayor Dickey
Mayor Dickey called the Special Meeting of January 19, 2022, to order at 5:01 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL—Mayor Dickey
Present: Mayor Ginny Dickey (telephonically); Councilmember Mike Scharnow;
Councilmember David Spelich (telephonically); Councilmember Gerry Friedel
(telephonically); Councilmember Sharron Grzybowski; Councilmember Peggy
McMahon; Vice Mayor Alan Magazine (telephonically)
Staff Town Manager Grady E. Miller; Town Attorney Aaron D. Arnson; Town Clerk
Present: Elizabeth A. Klein
3. RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION
MOVED BY Councilmember Sharron Grzybowski, SECONDED BY Councilmember Mike
Scharnow to recess into Executive Session.
Vote: 7 - 0 Passed - Unanimously
4. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Fountain Hills Town Council recessed into Executive Session at 5:01 p.m.
A. Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body;
and discussions or consultations with designated representatives of the public body in order to
consider its position and instruct its representatives regarding negotiations for the purchase, sale
or lease of real property, pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(3) and (7), respectively.

5. ADJOURNMENT
The Fountain Hills Town Council reconvened into Open Session at 5:53 p.m., at which time the
Special Meeting of January 19, 2022, adjourned.
